Minneapolis Puplic Schools is striving to make summer school fun and educational for sixth, seventh and eighth-grade students. The District’s curriculum will incorporate iPod touches, Moodle and VoiceThread technologies into math and reading coursework.
Each program features hands-on learning activities. At Northeast Middle School, students will be introduced to a new language – Chinese, French or Spanish. Students also will participate in a theater production, cooking meals from different cultures and physical fitness activities such as swimming.
Now is the time to enroll. Families may call 612-668-0440 for enrollment information or access the form online at: http://alc.mpls.k12.mn.us/.
